Error Handling
Errors and Warnings are generated to prevent any inadvertent error in the input data. This section describes how to handle the errors and warnings. These errors are displayed at the bottom of the input page when the data in one or more input fields invalidate each other.
- Note: Out of range errors are displayed next to the input field.
# | Error | Reason | Solution |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Error : Distance from Load to Column Face ( av ) should be less than of Horizontal Length ( a ) | Distance between load acting point and column face is greater than the overall horizontal length of the corbel. | Increase the horizontal length of corbel or decrease the distance between load and the column face. |
2 | Error : Length of Bearing Plate ( Lb ) should be less than of Horizontal Length ( a ) | Length of bearing plate is greater then the overall horizontal length of the corbel. | Increase the horizontal distance of corbel or decrease the length of bearing plate. |
3 | Error : Overall Depth of Corbel ( h ) Should be greater than ( 3 * Cc ) + ( 2 * Dm ) | Overall depth of corbel is not applicable to provide given number of bars and cover. | Increase the overall depth of corbel or provide cover and reinforcement details accordingly. |
